Jay O'Brien joins Jack Conway & Co.
March 22, 2007 -- Jay O'Brien of Falmouth is the newest agent at the Jack Conway & Co. Realtors Falmouth office. O'Brien comes to the Conway Co. from Today Real Estate, but also has a strong background in business and journalism.
Prior to joining Conway, O'Brien served as national sales manager for Forbes Magazine, and Business Week Magazine, and was also a managing director for the Latin American Division of McGraw Hill Books. "Although my background is in the corporate world, I felt the need to come and work for a locally owned company with a great track record and Jack Conway Co. certainly fits the bill," said O'Brien.
Jay recently graduated from the Conway College of Real Estate Knowledge (CCRK), the company's in-house training program, and is joining the team at the Falmouth office at 93 Davis Straits. "Our manager Peter Hawley is a great inspiration, and he really understands the importance of getting involved in the community," said O'Brien.
In addition to his real estate career, Jay and his wife Carmen also volunteer at Falmouth Hospital, and Jay is a regular supporter of the state's Disabled Veterans organization. He has a Master's degree in International Banking from Columbia College, and the couple has three children.
