Timothy R. Murphy oversees the delivery of programs and services of 17 agencies to more than one million of the state’s neediest citizens. Prior to joining EOHHS, he was Gov. Romney’s Director of Policy where he most recently focused on the governor’s health-care, job stimulus and transportation agendas. 

Prior to joining the Romney administration, Murphy was a vice president in the Investment Banking Division of J.P. Morgan in New York City, advising and raising capital for both corporations and nonprofit institutions. He has structured and executed security offerings for health-care providers, provided buy-side analysis for hospital management companies, and has authored equity research reports on health-care companies.
