Cape Chamber welcomes John Cherry as VP of Golf & Sports Marketing
John Cherry of Barnstable has joined the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce as Vice President of Golf & Sports Marketing.
As a senior sales and marketing executive in high technology industries for the past 20 years,
John brings a wide variety of experience to the task of marketing the Cape as a golfing destination and sporting activity participation venue. Having held executive positions with Fortune 500 and start-up companies, he is looking forward to utilizing the strategic marketing and management skills
that he has acquired during his high-tech career to help create a vibrant partnership that includes the Cape’s golf and sports venues, hoteliers, and retail businesses.
John attended Boston University, where he earned a B.A. Degree in Economics. He and his wife Elizabeth recently moved back to Massachusetts from Los Angeles, and they make their home in Barnstable Village.
